PP-IPTEK proudly welcomed the Australian Qantas Cabin Crew Team (QCCT) and more than 70 disadvantaged children from Yayasan Emmanuel in Bogor and Kampung Sawah in Cilincing.
The children and members of QCCT got the chance to watch PP-IPTEK’s spectacular live science demonstrations as well as having a great time wondering through our galleries. A highlight for the children was testing their bravery on PP-IPTEK’s famous “Sepeda di Atas Kabel” on Tuesday, November 10.
Brett South from Qantas said that: "Visiting the ppiptek was a great expierence both for the Qantas crew and particularly for the children we sponsored on our outing to Taman Mini - the kids enjoy the interactive displays and scientific / practical  equipment they where able to access. Many of the kids are from poor backgrounds - so an opportunity to go to such an exhibition of modern equipment gives them great hope that they may be able ti improve their lives through education."
The Qantas Cabin Crew Team is a non-profit organization staffed by Cabin Crew employees of the Australian airline, Qantas. They are dedicated to providing assistance in a variety of ways to communities in the countries that Qantas flies to (for further information see www.qcct.org.au). The QCCT were assisted by Jakarta’s Teratai Tuju Charity Group.
Having the chance to host the QCCT, PP-IPTEK valued their visit respectfully since QCCT gave benefit to the children to dream and to explore their creativity and knowledge through our facilities. PP-IPTEK is pleased to share and support the interactive exhibits and specially designed programs to other charity events (Chris, PP-IPTEK).
